Do you need cold-hardy, acclimated transplants you can rely on?

We source our seeds from hardy Australian species growing in cold regions and at higher elevations, so you know the native plants you get from us have been acclimatised over many generations to tough conditions. In addition, our production nursery is nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, near chilly Canberra, at an elevation of 950 m above sea level. So, our plants are extra tough, having been grown in conditions similar to those they’ll face when you plant them out.

Have specialised seed needs?

We have over 30 years of experience identifying and collecting native seed. We source much of the seed we use in our nursery ourselves, paying particular attention to provenance, so you can be assured the seed used for your transplants will be right for your climate and elevation.

If you’re working with a unique site and require transplants with very specific seed provenance, our team may be able to collect and use seed from your proposed planting area. Please get in touch to discuss whether this is an option for you.
